Turn around time during shearing season is 5
business days, not including shipping.
Include prepaid postage for return shipment. Pack
combs/cutters with ample padding to reduce risk of
damage during shipment.
Please Note: Every precaution is taken to prevent
damage to your combs/cutters. Occasional breakage
does occur. Camelot Ranch will not be responsible for
replacements in this event.

Your alpaca's clip will be sorted, and bagged into grades. Our shearing service includes shearing of your entire alpaca – not just the blanket, or prime area. Neck, legs, topknot and toenails are all included.

Les is the Shearer and Sharpener. Carol is a certified Sorter/Grader & Classer receiving her training from Olds College in Alberta, Canada. Our shearing experience spans 8 years.
We use a specially build alpaca tilt-table which allows us to lay your alpaca on his/her side and tie it's legs securely. Every alpaca is handled gently, yet efficiently. While your alpaca is on the shearing table, we can trim toenails and you may give any necessary de-worming or vaccinations. Teeth can also be trimmed for a small additional fee.
